CFRP inverted profile (Zonotlite-type calcium silicate board)
It contains carbon fiber reinforced fibers and is used as cast components such as CFRP inverted profiles and hot top rings.
It is composed of zonotlite crystals with excellent heat resistance, making it suitable for applications where molten aluminum alloys come into direct contact. By reinforcing with special fibers, it can withstand thermal shock caused by high-temperature molten aluminum, achieving continuous use and long lifespan. Its low thermal conductivity provides a high temperature retention effect for molten aluminum, contributing to energy savings in manufacturing equipment. It has excellent machinability and can be used for cast components with complex shapes. (It is also possible to machine various shapes.)
